Tender for the Supply and Commissioning of a Motion Picture Film Scanner Solution

The AIATSIS collection currently holds more than 6.8 million feet of motion picture film of which 3.7 million feet are yet to be digitised. It includes a wide variety of formats: 8mm, 16mm and 35mm in various aspect rations both with and without associated or embedded soundtracks.

AIATSIS are seeking to procure a motion picture film digitisation solution to preserve this priceless collection, and we invite manufacturers that can satisfy the technical requirements to submit a proposal, noting local Australasian based technical support is also a requirement.
