This information is for people who are filling out the NILS4 survey and may be feeling upset or overwhelmed.

If you want to pause the survey and come back to it, your progress will be saved. You can also stop the survey at any time and your answers will not be recorded.

Below are some support services you can contact to help:

  1. 13 YARN at 13 92 76: an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander 24/7 crisis support line.
  2. Yarning Safe ‘n’ Strong at 1800 959 563: a 24/7 free and confidential counselling service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  3. Brother to Brother at 1800 435 799: a 24/7 crisis line for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men of all ages.
  4. QLife LGBTQI+ support at 1800 184 527: anonymous and free peer support and referral, available 3pm-12am every day.
  5. Kids Helpline at 1800 551 800: a 24/7 free phone counselling service for kids and adolescents.
  6. Thirrili National Indigenous Suicide Support at 1800 805 801: a free 24/7 crisis line for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  7. Lifeline Australia at 13 11 14: a 24/7 crisis support line for all Australians.
