Stanner Reading Room remains closed

The Stanner Reading Room at AIATSIS remains closed as a precautionary measure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

There is currently no public access, appointments, visits or tours available for the public.

We are taking this step as the safety and wellbeing of staff, visitors and vulnerable community members is our priority at AIATSIS.

There will also be additional delays to completing existing requests for AIATSIS collection material as we respond to the challenges posed by the pandemic.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and urge everyone to keep safe and informed by visiting the Department of Health website's Coronavirus (COVID-19) health alert.
