Minister announces new Council members

The Minister for Education and Training, the Hon. Christopher Pyne announces the appointment of five new members to AIATSIS Council.

Donisha Duff – is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman from Thursday Island descended from Moa and Badu Islands (Torres Strait) and the Yadhaigana and Wuthathi people (Cape York). Her current role is the National Manager of Indigenous Affairs for Kidney Health Australia.

Professor Cindy Shannon – is a descendent of the Ngugi people from Moreton Island and ProVice Chancellor of Indigenous Education at the University of Queensland

Geoffrey Winters – is a Wiradjuri man from Orange and an Associate Lawyer with Clyde & Co, Sydney.

Rachel Perkins – is an Arrernte/Kalkadoon woman and Director of Blackfella Films.

Jodie Sizer – is a Djab Wurrung/Gunditjmara woman and Principal of PriceWaterhouseCoopers Indigenous Consulting.
