AIATSIS is pleased to invite Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists who identify as women to design the 2024 AIATSIS International Women’s Day Poster. This year’s International Women’s Day theme is Inspire Inclusion.
This is your opportunity to design a poster for Australia’s only National Collecting Institution focused exclusively on the diverse history, cultures and heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
The poster will be available free of charge from the AIATSIS Shop or you can pick up a copy of the poster from the Maraga building in Acton and from the new AIATSIS facility in Mparntwe (Alice Springs).
The chosen artist will receive a one-off payment of $5,000.
