Submission to the Parliamentary Inquiry on Capacity Building in Indigenous Communities

This submission responds to the Parliamentary Inquiry on Capacity Building in Indigenous Communities, firstly by contextualising the term 'community capacity building' in Indigenous studies and secondly by presenting the Institute's responses to promoting capacity building, sovereignty and self-governance issues through its programs and services to the Indigenous community. The submission will conclude with a summary of the Institute's current activities as well as future proposals and research directions in relation to community capacity building in Indigenous communities.
