The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet is the most comprehensive source of up-to-date, authoritative information on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health contributing to improving the health of Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The HealthInfoNet provides a wide range of easy to access high quality information about health and related issues for policy-makers, health service providers and program managers, clinicians and other health professionals. As part of its digital evolution strategy the HealthInfoNet has developed a range of digital knowledge exchange products and resources to enhance workforce capability and support.

In this presentation, using examples, we will discuss the HealthInfoNet model, principles and concepts underpinning culturally capable development of knowledge exchange tools and resources. These include the principles of co-design, co-production and co-construction intended to provide information that is timely, accessible and relevant.
