This is the first consent determination and first determination recognising native title in Victoria. The three consent determinations made by the Court determined that the Wotjobaluk,  Jaadwa, Jadawadali, Wergaia and Jupagulk peoples have non-exclusive native title rights over Area A (limited to some Crown reserves along the banks of the Wimmera River with Yarriambiak Creek); and no native title rights in Area B (the remainder of the claim area).
