Directed by descendants and kin relatives of Albert Namatjira, Iltja Ntjarra (Many Hands) Art Centre is proud to keep the watercolour tradition of the Hermannsburg art movement strong for future generations. Over the past 80 years the movement  grown steadily, with the Iltja Ntjarra Art Centre currently supporting  the sixth generation of Western Aranda artists.

A group of vibrant men and women, emerging and established artists, come together to paint, sing and enjoy a creative activity together. The artists work on national and international exhibitions. They paint landscapes of the beloved West MacDonnell Ranges using diverse techniques and mediums. The centre is renowned for its scenic watercolour paintings on paper as well as its innovative projects including the 1950s landscape circle skirts installation and the permanent landscape mural in Alice Springs.
