Australian Public Service Employee Census 2024 Results

The Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) Australian Public Service (APS) Employee Census results for the 2024 period are represented through the Highlights Report, which captures information on opinions and attitudes of staff within AIATSIS relating to employee health and wellbeing, leadership and working in the APS. The information helps inform the development of initiatives that will support change for improvements across AIATSIS.

The AIATSIS 2024 APS employee census action plan sets out key areas from the results of the 2024 census to focus on with an aim to work with staff in creating a more collaborative, informed and supported work environment.

As such, AIATSIS is proud to release its Agency level census action plan which has been developed in consultation with staff and the Executive Leadership Group to address the issues and areas for improvement identified in the AIATSIS Highlights Report.
