Australian Public Service Employee Census 2023 Results

The Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) Australian Public Services (APS) Employee Census results for the 2023 period are represented through the Highlights Report, which captures information on opinions and attitudes of APS staff within AIATSIS on issues relating to employee health and wellbeing, leadership and working differently. The information helps inform the development of initiatives that will support change for improvements in the identified areas of focus across AIATSIS.

As of 2023, Agencies are required to release an Agency Level Action Plan setting out how results from the 2023 Census will be addressed to improve overall staff wellbeing. Through developing and implementing the Agency Level Action Plan, AIATSIS aims to work alongside its staff in creating a more collaborative, informed and supported work environment. As such, AIATSIS is proud to release its Agency Level Action Plan which has been developed in consultation with staff and the Executive Leadership Group to address the issues and areas for improvement identified in the Highlights Report.
