A delegation from the National Committee for Ethnic Minorities of Vietnam with AIATSIS Deputy Principal, Michelle Patterson.
A delegation from the National Committee for Ethnic Minorities of Vietnam visited the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) today on a fact finding mission.
The team was particularly interested in the impact of government policy on the relationship with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the economic and social impact of such policies.

“It was an opportunity to discuss the Indigenous experience in both our nations and look at how we can work together to share understandings and lessons about the impact of policies relating to Indigenous peoples,” Mr. Taylor said.
