Native title work: tracking community time and labour

We often hear about how much time and resources goes into native title on a national scale but about the local picture: how much time, work and money community members are putting into native title themselves?

AIATSIS and Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation have been working on a research project together, to who the time and work Indigenous community members have put into native title and their corporation, as well as looking at the values and relationships developed through enacting native title rights and interests. 

In this presentation we will present on the results of the project and demonstrate how this may be done in the future by native title corporations and organisations themselves, by the ‘Work Tracker’ database.
