Native title groups in the Pilbara and Yamatji regions of Western Australia have seen dramatic change over the last decade through the growth and decline of iron ore mining and the resulting native title agreements.
The Aboriginal Directors of Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation are exploring the next stage of service delivery to Traditional Owner groups through a new business unit called Knowledge Partnerships.  Knowledge Partnerships creates ethical partnerships and collaborative projects helping Traditional Owners meet their aspirations. We are committed to forming meaningful partnerships with Traditional Owner groups. Our corporate and technical experience enables us to create stronger and more positive outcomes for Traditional Owners and their country.

The evolution of land councils is critical to ensure the accountability, knowledge, understanding that has been built over decades stays accessible to Traditional Owners as a not-for-profit service.
