A judicial perspective on native title

Justice Mortimer will present a snapshot of where the Federal Court’s native title work is up to across the country, what its objectives are in the area for 2016/2017, and what developments to its current practice might be considered. She will also speak about the challenges and opportunities likely to emerge for the Court’s role in not only the determination of native title, but the working out of its consequences.
