The National Competitive Grants Program: Support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers, research and writing research impact statements in grant applications
There is an increasing focus on showcasing the societal benefits of research, or research impact. Globally, key stakeholders including government, industry and the community are demanding more information about the benefits arising from their investment in research.
This session with representatives of the Australian Research Council (ARC) will focus on two elements of the agency’s engagement with this topic:
(i) the new Engagement and Impact assessment and treatment of Indigenous research, and
(ii) considering research impact pathways in research grant applications.
The ARC will also provide information on its support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers and research under the National Competitive Grants Program.
