In this submission AIATSIS provides feedback on the Voice proposal. The submission outlines 19 recommendations for both the Local and Regional and National Voice proposals and emphasises the need for the recognition of Indigenous political practice and cultural governance. In addition, the submission notes the importance of statutory protections, ongoing resourcing and constitutional recognition.
