Expression of Interest - application form
The AIATSIS Foundation has launched a project to support the publication of Indigenous language dictionaries that need extra funding to be published. For the first phase of the project, we seek EOIs from dictionary projects that meet the following criteria:
- Ready for publication within the next 12 months (i.e. in 2019);
- Supported by relevant Indigenous language communities, with the involvement of community members; and
- Are of high quality (in terms of comprehensiveness, accuracy, ease of use, etc.).
Successful dictionaries will also preferably document languages which are endangered and/or do not have an existing published dictionary, unless the proposal is for a significantly improved dictionary.
If you are developing a dictionary that meets the above criteria, you are invited to apply for this funding by completing the form below. Applications are open at any time.
Please note that AIATSIS is not seeking copyright. Any material submitted to us will not be used outside of the assessment process.
