Ms Zoe Sanderson

Zoe Sanderson is an Assistant Director of the Native Title Unit in the Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department. Following the completion of her law degree, Zoe joined the Native Title Unit in 2007, and worked primarily on broader system coordination and legislative reform matters. Zoe was the principal instructor for the Native Title Amendment Bill 2009, which introduced reforms to give the Federal Court control over the management of native title claims. Before returning to the Native Title Unit in 2017, Zoe worked on social justice reform, including developing legal assistance policies for vulnerable Australians, and a lengthy period working in the Defence Abuse Response Taskforce.
