Sandra Creamer

CEO, National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Alliance (NATSIWA)

Sandra Creamer is a Wannyi/Kalkadoon woman. Sandra has a Law degree, and is the interim CEO for the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Alliance. Sandra also has her own consultancy business, doings human rights workshops internationally. Sandra is a Director and Executive member for Amnesty International Australia and a Director and Treasurer for the International Indigenous Women’s Fund (FIMI). Sandra has been involved with the Indigenous Peoples group from Australia, and has attended the United Nations Forum for Indigenous Issues for the past 11 years with the Australian delegation. Sandra works with Indigenous women in Australia and around the world. Sandra first started her work with women as a Community Liasion Officer with Legal Aid Queensland, this gave her the passion to do a law degree and to work more in advocating for Indigenous women so that they can move towards self-determination so that they can make an economic gain for themselves, family or community.
