Biographical note

Dr Peter J. F. Coutts, a professional archaeologist, has a wide research experience in the Pacific, and has a particular interest in Australian prehistory. He has undertaken long term investigations of the Aboriginal prehistory of the Western District of Victoria. Dr Coutts is the author of many books and articles dealing with archaeological subjects.
