Pat Anderson AO

Pat Anderson AO is an Alyawarre woman and the Chairperson of the Lowitja Foundation. Ms Anderson is also the Co-chair of the Referendum Council. The 16-member Council was appointed by the Prime Minister of Australia, Malcolm Turnbull and the Leader of the Opposition, Bill Shorten. Previously, Ms Anderson was Chief Executive Officer of Danila Dilba Health Service in Darwin, Chair of the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation and Executive Officer of the Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT). Ms Anderson also co-authored the Little Children Are Sacred Report, a report on the abuse of Aboriginal children in the Northern Territory.
